Hi, I have just fired up the Float N Slope system, and have made some changes. The biggest change was going to a 120VAC pump. I tried using 12 VDC pumps last year and had too many pump failures. This year, I am using a 1/4 horse sump pump with a float switch. The float switch has built in hystresis. That eliminates the unit from shuting off and on when the level reaches the critical point of transition. I found that if I mounted the cord of the float switch carefully, the system cycles very nicely. |
